Twinzies: Getting Ready for Entrepreneur Day

Jeffrey Campbell Stilettos

We are so excited to be a part of the 2nd Annual San Diego Entrepreneur Day! This event is for experienced and new Entrepreneurs alike discussing/presenting business concepts now and for the future. This year EDay will present an all day StyleLounge sponsored by Fortune 421 and featuring brands + boutiques including Luv Surf, The Habitat Factory, Lord Wallington, Crow Thief, and many more. The booth will be constructed using refurbished Vintage Furniture pieces built and supplied by Vintage Revivals...the PERFECT place for us to present our mini-workshop Twinzies talk Anti-Fashion with Layers. The Fortune 421 StyleLounge (you'll find us Sat, Sept 28 on the corner of 9th & J) will include ongoing presentations (hosted by Cindy Matalucci and Pulse SD). For all of our friends and fans who have asked, "How do you two put that together?", we will be sharing our tricks and tips exploring fashion through personal expression. So.....a sneak peek of what you can expect:

In developing our presentation for Entrepreneur Day, we started gathering up our "layers", things that we have purchased over the years. Wow...this started to look like SJP in Sex & the City...a collection gathered from big and small retailers alike. The BEST come from small boutiques, our true go to. So we compiled our goodies and took note. Some of our favorite pieces we have purchased come from  EBay, Etsy.com, Far Fetch (located in West Hollywood), and  Wynk Boutique. If its chic and fashion related we will find it!

Coming to terms with our small entrepreneur boutique obsession, we consider ourselves "Anti-Fashion." Together we go online and offline to layer our closet. Layering that closet is all part of making an individual look. We both adore looking at the directional fashion publications such as Vogue and In Style. We do draw inspiration from them, but we draw inspiration from other things as well. It takes an eye and our message is rock what you love  meaning looking through your own Ray Bans and create a style that's all your own. It's about taking a risk, being individual, and trying what works for you. Come to think of it...dressing like an Entrepreneur. This is what SD Entrepreneur Day is all about. We can't wait to see you Sept 28th and share Twinzies talk Anti-fashion with Layers.

  1. Such great advice! Loved reading this and thinking how true what they are saying is. Having the confidence to live what they believe truly inspires me. They define style in my eyes!!
