Twinzies: Beach Boardwalk Empire

(Kendall & Kylie Beanies)

Essentially venturing to the beach with layers is never an easy task, but with FIDM bags in hand we managed to do it. In layering this time we each brought in pieces from favorite brands such as WildFox Couture, True Religion, Solestruck, Free People, UGG, and SD based Kippy's. Bringing fashion to the beach was a fun task although we eventually had to ditch our fashionable footwear...it's impossible to navigate the sand with shoes! We decided to venture onto the boardwalk leaving pavement behind to stand over the ocean. We were amongst fishers waiting for their catch...bet they never planned on catching a glimpse of us early in the morning...

Time to hit the sand...with our polished toesies (black and colorful) we ventured out. Court had layered around her WildFox Couture star distressed sweater with an anchor (Betsey Johnson), donut bracelet (Kate Spade), and a starfish cuff (Alkemie). Sparkly UGG boots were the finishing touch. Her patched leggings even added to the distressed vintage look with some torn jean shorts by Free People.

Chels brought her studs, bling, black'n white, netted socks, and True Religion hat along with her. She added a Michael Kors fox tail as an extra accessory (a fun/bold/fuzzy and funky piece). With her boyfriend inspired True Religion jeans wrapped in Kippy belts all pieces got tied together with a sheer short/long tank and black motorcycle inspired leather jacket. A few more rings together with a sparkly bling studded earring cuff completed the look. And why not black pumps to give the outfit a more sophisticated edge? (Love a girl who can rock pumps at the beach).

Our adventure continues! Look for us in the Fortune 421 StyleLounge at San Diego Entrepreneur Day on September 28. We'll be talking about Layering, Anti-fashion, and Fall style. Excited to share our ideas with Everyone. See you soon!!
